Summary
Introduction
I am a 20-year-old female with autism and Connective Tissue disease, I also have functional Neurological disorder, I am also a wheelchair user. I live with my mum and dad. I like animals, going out with my pet dog, I like to go out to the pub & cinema, I also like baking and cooking I also go to college studying Health and social care. I need help with personal care, transfers, and getting out into the community. I need someone to help me make activity plans so I know what we will be doing, but some days I don't want to leave the house so would need to do activities inside & outside of the house.
Duties
Fixed Term - Maternity Cover
Hours are Flexible to a degree,
Weekends Wednesdays 12-00 - 3
Friday 14-00 - 18.00 Saturday 12-00 - 18.00
on Occasions overnight stays and hospital stay overs.
Help with Toileting, hoist Transfers,
collecting me from college and going out after college. You will also have to give me medication
If i have to go into hospital, I will need someone who will be able to stay over with me and communicate with the medical professional and pass the information on to my mum and dad if they are not there.
Someone to come with me on Holidays/Days away.
Hours: 8 per week on the weekdays and weekends, and sleep overs.
Rate: £14.00 ph
Essential Requirements
Must have a full Driving Licence and Car. Moving & Handling training.
Able To Swim, and have a good sense of humour, enjoy going on outgoing, also be able to do come up with activities for me to do together.
Desired Experience
experience working with learning difficulties, and an understanding of what comes with someone with Autism and complex Health Issue’s
