Are you a dedicated and inspiring teacher with a passion for inclusion and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Are you ready to lead SEND across a whole school and play a key role in shaping our inclusive and nurturing ethos?

The children, staff and governors of Parkfield Primary School are looking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher (SENDCO) to join our forward-thinking and supportive leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or aspiring leader with a passion for SEND to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of SEND provision across the school
• Lead and develop our successful nurture provision
• Work closely with staff, families, external professionals and pupils to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive
• Support and develop the wider SEND team, promoting effective collaboration and consistency
• Be a visible and active member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school improvement
• Champion a culture of inclusion, equity and high expectations for all learners
