This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team who believe in leading from the frontline and aim to provide outstanding care. The department is supported by an excellent consultant and middle grade tier which provides 24 hour cover. The ED is blessed with an excellent and supportive nursing team and our friendly atmosphere is frequently commented upon by past doctors. The applicants will be expected to have undergone appropriate foundation training or equivalent training. Preference will be given to those who have previous experience in Emergency Medicine. There will be opportunities to develop skills in emergency medicine, point of care ultrasound, quality improvement, and teaching and training including simulation, with 2 weeks of paid study leave.
