The Teaching Assistant aspect of the role is where you will be working with individuals or small groups in our specialist learning support areas as well as supporting our mainstream classrooms - making a real difference to our students and their progress.
No two days will ever be the same although they will always be rewarding and exciting.
As an ACE Tutor you will be working with some of our most vulnerable learners and their families to offer personalised and bespoke support and guidance. You will work hard to understand their individuality and help resolve barriers to their achievement - making a real difference to our students and our community. Your previous experience as a learning support professional is less important to us than your clear vision on what can be achieved for our students and how we can motivate and inspire them to achieve great things.
Our new colleague will have an unstinting belief that every young person, whatever their starting point, can make and sustain exceptional progress and that our purpose is to change lives. You will have access to on-going development opportunities and the support of a forward thinking, successful multi-academy Trust. You will be joining a team of strong and experienced school professionals who will do whatever it takes to help you to succeed in your new and exciting role. Key Responsibilities: As well as having a passion for young people and their futures, our colleague will:
*be a dynamic professional with a desire for rapidly improving standards
*have a commitment to your own professional development and learning how best to support students in being successful
*understand the need to be creative and well prepared
*bring an unwavering commitment to doing whatever it takes
*have the ability to engage, inspire and build excellent relationships with both students and staff *be emotionally intelligent, able to maintain a sense of calm and demonstrate excellent patience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly ambitious team of staff and make a real impact on our students’ lives. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with students across the full age and ability range.
