Summary
You will have great interpersonal skills and be able to establish a professional working relationship with young people and families. You will be cool in a crisis, it's a busy clinical area and we manage lots of risk-taking behaviour and deliberate self harm. It is a demanding, yet rewarding role. This is a senior nursing position so you will be keen to develop from a leadership perspective, be able to support junior staff and learners, be able to offer clinical supervision and training as well as positive role modelling. Your values are essential to this role; we are looking for someone who genuinely wants to make a lasting impact on young people, who insists on doing things with care and diligence and is able to think on their feet. The CAMHS inpatient unit structure has been newly designed, specifically to enable and encourage progression; your development is vital to the service. We're looking to attract a registered nurse from any branch of nursing with experience ideally in CAMHS or acute inpatient services to join our established and effective multidisciplinary team.
