Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic humanities graduate to join a thriving secondary school in Liverpool as a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for graduates eager to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting and explore a future career in education.

Key Details: Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm during term-time
• Weekly pay: Up to £565 as a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant
• Start date: Immediate or September 2025
• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Humanities lessons and intervention groups
• Collaborate closely with subject teachers and pastoral teams to support student progress and engagement

Candidate Requirements:

• A 2:1 degree or above in a Humanities-related subject (e.g. History, Geography, RE, Politics, Sociology)
• A genuine interest in education and supporting secondary-aged pupils
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
