Tube Gear Limited now have a vacancy for:
Junior CAD Engineer - Trainee
Due to continued growth driven by product demand we now need to expand our engineering base to further support product development.
Ideally, we are seeking someone that has previous knowledge of either Auto-CAD or Fusion 360 drawing software or equivalent, with a keen interest in mechanical engineering. Typically, you will have undergone college based further education, now looking to enter the workplace to further advance your experience.
Working directly for the Managing Director, your role will briefly include the following:
- Creating drawings from sample or design specifications
- Maintaining product data files
- Recording design changes and drawing issues
- Creating production and sales part numbers from internal registers
- Working within specific industry standards either ISO or DIN
We are a progressive forward-thinking company actively engaged in the manufacture and distribution of commercial vehicle air brake equipment and chassis components. Our Halesowen manufacturing facility is expanding to meet increased demand to supply our customers within the transport industry.
We are offering above market rates of pay with a company supplemented pension scheme.
The position is permanent. Location – Halesowen, West Midlands.
