Summary
Early Years / Montessori Teacher - Term Time Only - Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 13.00
Hotwells Children’s House is a non-profit, private, Montessori setting in the
grounds of, but independent from, Hotwells Primary School. We take children from age 2 until they start Primary School. In September 2025 we will have up to 24 children in each day, with around 8 younger children staying for the mornings only, and around 16 children staying the full day. We work to better than statutory ratios and prioritise wellbeing for everyone in our community.
You will be an integral part of our small team, taking responsibility for the education, care and safety of children attending the setting. You will form warm and nurturing relationships with children and families, and will prepare a rich and stimulating learning environment. You will work closely with the setting Managers and the rest of the team, ensuring that provision is of exceptional quality, reflective, and responsive to the needs of the children. As our morning practitioner you will be around during our busy morning work cycle when our youngest children are in attendance. You’ll work with Managers to have a particular eye on the provision for our two year old cohort, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are highly involved in the learning environment. When they go home you’ll cover other teacher’s breaks before leaving mid-afternoon.
