Summary
Being responsible for ensuring high quality, evidence based patient centred care is delivered and providing assurance of this whilst delivering the Trusts core objectives and strategies. Being responsible for setting the standards with the nursing team and ensuring that the environment allows the workforce to feel supported to deliver safe and effective care. Developing and delivering continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that the service meets all Quality Indicator targets, Key performance indicators and quality and safety standards and initiatives relevant to the service. Reviewing and implementing the management of patient pathways to improve flow and efficiency in the wards/departments/clinics, ensuring the patients experience is positive while under our care.
