Summary
Clinical: Where possible, the applicant will work at the level equivalent to specialist registrar grade/ Fellow. The clinical duties of the post include; Clinics: new patients, pre-admission & review clinics. Pre-operative work up including pre-surgical planning using templating software Theatres: assisting & operating under close supervision only after satisfactory assessment on job. Registrar on-calls at RVI (nights and weekend days), flexible Trauma working Supervising junior doctors in the day to day care of inpatients Care of the patients during their stay in hospital. Daily ward rounds and reporting to supervising consultant. Freeman on-call cover including weekends and evenings, including Weekend ward rounds when on-call.
