Summary

HEAD OF CAFM & DATA

Working Hours: : Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm

Salary: £85,000 to £92,700 per annum

Location: Home Based


We're looking for a dynamic leader to head up our CAFM & Data function. This is a home-based role requiring flexible working around a 40-hour week.

As Head of CAFM & Data you will define and execute our FM CAFM strategy. You will lead the CAFM team, ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction, while identifying and implementing key enhancements to our CAFM system, Mobiess, and processes to achieve comprehensive asset compliance across all FM contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

CAFM System Management:



CAFM Team Management: Oversee daily resourcing and performance, providing regular project updates to Technical Leadership.
Concept User Empowerment: Ensure all Concept users have clear roles, responsibilities, and accessible, evidenced training.
System Optimisation: Maximise Concept and Mobiess performance/uptime; bridge G4S, IT, and FSI for CAFM improvements and new technology identification.
Asset Change Control: Embed a controlled Asset Change Control Process across Operations, Projects, and Lifecycle teams for asset stewardship and quality assurance.
Asset Hierarchy Standardisation: Ensure consistent Asset Hierarchy Standards across all contracts, resolving maintenance and naming convention issues.
Concept Evolution Technical Lead: Act as the technical lead for the implementation of the Concept Evolution CAFM System across G4SFM.
IT/CAFM Interface: Serve as the key interface between IT, the CAFM provider, and operational teams for application support.
PFI Payment & Reporting Lead: Be the lead technical resource for PFI payment mechanism management and development; lead the CAFM team in standard contractual reporting.
Innovation & Enhancement: Identify and present innovation/system enhancements to the Director of Technical Services, producing review papers and recommendations.
New Contract Mobilisation: Collaborate with the CAFM team to support new contract mobilisation and CAFM system implementation.
Team Mentorship & Training: Mentor and train CAFM team members to enhance Concept Evolution skills and knowledge.
Operational Audits & Validation: Undertake audits and validation of operational procedures regarding CAFM use.
Issue Resolution: Identify, report, and develop action plans for CAFM system issues.
Site Improvement Collaboration: Collaborate on Site Improvement plans with Operations and Support Services to address CAFM elements.
Programme Management: Manage multiple work streams, meet programme timescales, and communicate updates/risks.
Process & Training Standardisation: Oversee the development of standardised CAFM processes and training for all contracts.



Data Management:

Statistical Data Analysis: Perform statistical analysis on data.
Data Visualisation: Visualise data clearly using diagrams and graphs.
Report Generation & Presentation: Prepare and present reports to management/clients.
Data Quality Management: Monitor and cleanse data of corrupt entries.
Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders to understand data and business needs.
Process Optimisation for Savings: Identify and recommend cost-saving process improvements.
Data Mining for Insights: Extract information, correlations, and patterns through data mining.
Compliance & Assurance Reporting Toolkit: Oversee the collaborative development of a live data reporting toolkit for Compliance and Assurance, ensuring data accessibility.


The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Criteria:



Interpersonal skills and ability to translate technical information messages to operational stakeholders.
SME in Concept Evolution
Ability to solve complex data issues and create rapid solutions
Ability to map processes and procedures
Understanding of PPMs and asset lifecycle.
Strong IT and mathematical skills
A solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage
Knowledge of relevant relational databases
In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
Data interpretation and presentation
