Your Role as a Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our clients in home care, private sector, and supported living settings. Working under the guidance of our Registered Manager, you will ensure clients receive the best possible care while maintaining their dignity and independence.
What You’ll Do
Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
Administer or prompt medication as per care plans
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with mobility needs, including hoisting and transfers
Support clients with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure clients' well-being
Keep accurate records and update care plans
Promote privacy, dignity, independence, and choice for all clients
Provide compassionate care and emotional support
Support and guide junior staff, ensuring they understand their duties
Maintain clear and open communication with the care team
Take part in regular team meetings and training sessions
Implement an effective key-carer system to enhance client support
Monitor and improve staff performance, providing guidance when needed
Available Contracts
✔ Full-time, Part-time, Contract, or Permanent
✔ Flexible hours: 10 – 50 per week
Shift Patterns
Morning Shift: 07.00 AM – 2:00 PM
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Workdays: Monday – Friday, Weekends, or Weekends Only
