Summary
What's involved with this role:
This is a part time role suitable for someone with housing experience as they will be working within supported accommodation.
Days and hours are to be agreed but minimum of three days per week at 6 hours per day.

Skills & Experience:
Understanding of basic building safety and security protocols, including CCTV monitoring, alarm response, and access control.
Experience working in a customer-facing environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with tenants, contractors, and colleagues effectively.
Ability to manage tasks such as receiving deliveries, supporting administrative processes, and maintaining secure, welcoming environments.
Competent in using Microsoft Office applications and digital systems such as housing or facilities management software (e.g. TF Cloud).
Desirable:
Basic knowledge of housing services and understanding of how they impact tenants’ day-to-day experience.
Experience working with contractors or helpdesk systems to log and resolve maintenance issues.
What's involved with this role: The role of a Service Officer is to provide a front-line housing management / enhanced housing management service to residents in sheltered accommodation.
Key duties:
Overseeing building safety, managing tenancies including viewings, settling in new residents and sign ups and completing fire risk assessments.
Being part of resident’s meetings and responsible for reporting both communal and resident’s repair requirements.
Managing light anti-social behaviour issues, so being able to effectively communicate is a must.
Offering signposting and referral support to external agencies
