Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced night-time Care Assistant to join a dedicated team providing waking night cover in several beautiful care homes across Leicester City. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly residents.
As a valued member of the night staff, you will be supporting individuals with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as those recovering on respite. Your focus will be on maintaining their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being throughout the night. Responsibilities include conducting regular well-being checks, assisting with personal care for both male and female residents, supporting mobility needs using equipment such as hoists, slings, and rotundas, completing domestic tasks as needed, and responding promptly to call bells.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold a practical moving and handling certificate dated within the past 6 months. If you take pride in delivering compassionate care and want to be part of a supportive and friendly team, we would love to hear from you.

If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up-to-date training, don’t worry—we can help. We offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.
