Summary
Provide specialist advice, support and leadership to patients carers and staff. on issues relating to Urological conditions. Use clinical expertise to assess the psychological needs of the patient group. providing Holistic support. Exercise clinical skills/expertise in identifying acute physical symptoms and acute Urological issues. Use clinical expertise to identify patient needs. Support staff in decision making and coordinating these needs and refer to other agencies as appropriate Lead and develop nurse-led clinics/activity, including ordering investigations. and interpreting results as appropriate for the specialty in line with competency training and trust requirements Undertake agreed clinical procedures relevant to speciality, in accordance with the standard operating procedures and/or patient group directions Administer when appropriate intravesical immunotherapy and chemotherapy, including patient education for intermittent self-catheterisation and self-administration of treatment. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
