Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification :- 2.1 Provide friendly and professional reception of patients and their escorts.2.2 Record the attendance of patients in the appointment system.2.3 Make bookings for radiotherapy treatments in collaboration with the radiographic staff.2.4 Arrange patients appointments and provide summary and assist in arranging hospital transport and outpatient clinic appointments as required.2.5 Contact clinical specialists and doctors as directed by radiographers and nursing staff.2.6 Greet visitors to department and make contact as appropriate.2.7 To appraise the superintendent radiographer of stock levels for routine supplies and consumables and complete purchase orders for approval as necessary.2.8 Collect patient related data, immobilisation equipment and other radiotherapy equipment upon request of the radiographers. To include gathering details of previous treatment from outside the Trust.2.9 Prepare and collect documentation for meetings as requested.2.10 Make room bookings as requested.2.11 Contact patients by telephone to advise of appointments as specified.2.12 Ensure patients are prepared correctly for planned procedure following defined protocols for amount that patients should be required to drink..2.13 Maintain records of all patients and private patients.
