The Headteacher of Millbank Primary School is looking for a hard-working, committed and inspirational senior teaching assistant who is committed to children’s wellbeing and learning.

You will need to have:

We are looking for a Level 1 Teaching Assistant who works very well with colleagues to support pupils to ensure their needs are met to ensure their full and successful inclusion in our school and classes.
You would be joining a high-achieving, successful and forward-thinking school which is known for high levels of successful inclusion and wellbeing.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
These posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
