Summary

Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or 3


Salary: £25,400-£28,000.


40 hours per week



We are seeking a nurturing and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s growing Nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a safe and enriching environment for young children to learn and grow. This role is for 40 hours a week with a salary of £25,400-£28,000.



What We’re Looking For



  • Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ).

  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.

  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene certifications (preferred but not required).

Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our Child Led Curriculum

  • Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress and development.

  • Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play.



  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the nursery.

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.



  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the nursery.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on their child’s development and well-being.

  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other development opportunities.



  • Keep accurate records of children’s development and progress.

  • Support with administrative tasks, such as accident forms, attendance records, and planning documentation.
