Summary
What your typical day looks like: Providing independent, advanced clinical care for patients aged 12 weeks and older, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals. Performing and interpreting diagnostic investigations, identifying when specialist input is needed. Engaging clearly and confidently with patients and carers to support informed decision-making. Collaborating within a multi-professional team while maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional standards. Prescribing medications within non-medical prescribing guidelines and ensuring safe discharge or appropriate referrals. To be a successful Advanced Practitioner youll need: Registered and practicing with a recognized professional body. Registered as a non-medical prescriber. Completed at least two Level 7 modules, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury Ability to work autonomously within multi-professional teams. Skilled in assessing and managing complex conditions in both adults and children.
