Summary
What your typical day looks like: Taking charge of autonomous clinical assessments, treatments, referrals, and providing adviceto first-contact patients through direct contact consultations. Communicating both verbally, and non-verbally to establish rapport with patients and caregivers Making confident decisions and communicating them effectively, ensuring clarity and understanding. Recognising and initiating where appropriate advice of relevant specialisms. Maintaining appropriate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines. Working effectively as part of a multi professional team in collaboration with other members of the service. To be a successful Clinical Practitioner youll need: To be registered and practicing with a Professional Body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC) Have evidence of autonomous practice To have worked in telephone triage previously Have a Level 6 or 7 qualification in the clinical examination module and the minor illness module To be motivated and show passion, positivity, resilience and determination in patient care
