The Role

This is an opportunity for a talented individual to play an important role in the delivery of a range of statutory network services across the Falkirk area.

You will provide a comprehensive, high-quality service for the management of traffic management schemes within the Falkirk Council. The role also includes liaising with internal & external stakeholders & clients throughout projects.

You will hold an HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent discipline) and you will have knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, as well as being able to lead on the design, procurement and implementation of relevant schemes. Schemes such as 20mph speed limit implementation, pavement parking and many more are included within the role.

You will be enthusiastic, ambitious and a keen mentor with experience, good organisational and presentation skills, alongside experience of current health & safety regulations. You will be IT literate, have good interpersonal and report writing skills, with an overall professionalism.

You are required to be flexible, innovative and reactive to public demands and pressures including communicating directly with member & public enquiries.
