Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our clients team. This role requires a commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a strong work ethic.
The role will involve making class 1 multi-drop deliveries to customers across the UK on a chilled and ambient contract.
Other duties include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, loading and unloading goods securely and ensuring all items are properly secured for transport.
It will be important to maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months previous Class 1 experience, valid drivers CPC & Digi card in addition to excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local roadways. Strong attention to detail around safety protocols and vehicle maintenance is also of high importance.
