Summary

As a Community Navigator, you’ll be a vital and visible community resource, responsible for engaging and supporting clients in a community venue. You will be responsible for developing effective working relationships with community partners. Your primary responsibilities will cover three main areas:

Crisis Support - As a Community Navigator you will be trained to identify clients in crisis while providing energy vouchers and food vouchers referrals; in addition to fast-tracking them, if needed, to our generalist or specialist help - most commonly debt, benefit, and housing

Assisted Digital Support - You’ll support people to access and complete essential online services, and will work with local authority digital inclusion leads to help the region achieve its ambitions for residents to be 100% digital-enabled

Move clients forward - You’ll ensure that everyone you see is moved forward, if not to their solution then onto the next step of their advice pathway. You’ll provide a seamless journey for residents to get the support they need, either through our in-house, highly skilled generalist advisers or through one of our partners across the social sector in Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford
