Working hours: 40 hours per weekInterview Date: To be confirmedOur Tenancy Sustainment Officers really help make a difference to peoples’ lives. You will be part of a team who help support people to make positive changes in their lives at our Lifehouse based in St Helens, Merseyside.As a motivated and dynamic Tenancy Sustainment Officer you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality programme of housing and tenancy support which promotes client choice and control. You will play a key role in interviews and assessments, allocation of housing and settling in new clients/residents.You will have;Previous experience of supporting a wide range of people from varying backgrounds, including the vulnerable and some with challenging/dangerous behaviour, with varying support and housing management needsKnowledge of what housing related support is and the issues that people face on a daily basis including tenancy/licence breaches including access, abandonment, anti-social behaviour etc. You will address client housing and tenancy needs including assisting with finding a suitable housing pathway, enabling positive life changes and ultimately empowering people to lead more sustainable lifestyles.You will need to be passionate about supporting people to make positive change in their lives, be confident working on your own and as part of a team, working with a range of different agencies including landlords and understand the needs of people who are homeless.
