Summary

Your new role
As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for safeguarding our customers' network security systems and ensuring compliance with contractual security obligations.
Your role will involve managing security compliance, operational risks, and security awareness programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Security Management:
  Oversee the security of network systems, ensuring they are protected against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Contract Security Compliance:
  Understand and manage security obligations outlined in customer contracts, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO27001.
• Risk Management:
  Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks related to network security.
• Security Awareness:
  Develop and monitor security awareness programs across the organisation.
• Customer Engagement:
  Work closely with customers to provide expert support and ensure their security needs are met.
• IT Health Checks:
  Conduct regular IT health checks and manage remediation activities.
• Information Assurance:
  Deliver and implement security information assurance packages.
• Incident Management:
  Lead the response to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Documentation:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes and compliance activities.
• Team Leadership:
  Mentor junior team members and review their work to ensure high standards.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  Proven track record in network security and information assurance.
• Knowledge:
  Strong understanding of ISO27001 and other relevant security standards.
• Skills:
  Excellent organisational, multitasking, and customer-facing skills.
• Adaptability:
  Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
• Clearance:
  SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain.
• Proactivity:
  Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and addressing security issues.
• Leadership:
  Comfortable leading large, complex security projects and deliveries.
