Summary
The purpose of this flexible and exciting role is to deliver a dietetic service offer which meets the unique and diverse needs of service-users from the local community with an expectation it will continually evolve with changing needs and priorities of patients. This role is one of an innovative practitioner who works autonomously, but can actively engage a wider team of professionals, both in primary care and relevant community services. Re-establish and run clinical sessions for 1:1 patient care and small group workshops. Deliver services in a variety of settings, including but not limited to community clinics, GP surgeries, patients own-homes, community venues, and group settings. Promote the role of the dietitian within the GP surgeries and wider network by attending meetings and events to network with other community services and neighbourhood teams.
