Summary
This lovely family based in Wimbledon is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children on a permanent basis. Someone who speaks Spanish would be ideal. The role includes all general nanny duties such as school pick-ups, homework assistance, and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities. The family has a friendly pet cat, so a pet-friendly nanny is essential. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, Term time: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, School Holiday: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm (around 16 weeks).
Duties include:
School pick-up and drop-off, including escorting the children to after-school activities
Assisting with homework and supporting educational development
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and care of young children at all times
Providing supervision and attentive care throughout the day
Planning and organising age-appropriate activities that foster growth and learning
Encouraging reading and active play to support intellectual and physical development
Implementing and maintaining daily routines for consistency and structure
Performing light cleaning duties related to the children, including tidying up after meals and play
Preparing healthy snacks and meals tailored to the children’s needs
