Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will assist in various aspects of food and beverage service, including catering, bartending, and food preparation, while adhering to food safety standards. Your hospitality skills will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries or concerns.
Support catering events by setting up dining areas, serving guests, and ensuring all equipment is maintained.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities.
Adhere to food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of both staff and guests.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Assist with bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving beverages responsibly.
Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items and improve service skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment.
A positive attitude towards helping others and providing outstanding service.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for catering or bartending would be an advantage.
