Summary

Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives? Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centred, trauma-informed way to divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and to achieve long-term lasting change?

The Nelson Trust offers support services for women experiencing multiple and complex needs including contact with the Criminal Justice System (CJS). Our services use a trauma-informed approach to engage women and address needs holistically including one-to-one support, outreach, and group interventions.

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic person to join the Nelson Trust team based at HMP Eastwood Park. As a Keyworker, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to our clients, helping them navigate their recovery journey. You will work closely with individuals to develop personalized care plans, offer emotional and practical support, and connect them with essential resources. Your empathetic approach and commitment to empowering others will be key to their success.

We have opportunities for individuals who are passionate about supporting and empowering women in a holistic, women centred, trauma informed way.

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
