Summary
Due to an increase in workload, we are recruiting a Junior Quality Engineer for an expanding client based near Pocklington.
As part of the Quality Team, candidates will be required to work in post production inspection and reporting on products before delivery to the clients.
Interested candidates will ideally be Time Served in a Mechanical Discipline with a desire to move into a quality engineering based role. Knowledge of large plant or agricultural machinery is highly advantageous.
This role is ideal for a driven, proactive candidate looking to develop a career further within a quality engineering function.
This position is based on days and available for an immediate start.
Role Description
Lead pre delivery inspection on finished products.
Work with internal teams on addressing any internal NCRs or quality issues.
Work with Operations in supporting all aspects of the quality requirements.
Produce quality certification and documentation to support all products in-process and for shipment as required.
Work with and support other areas of the business with regards to supplying technical support and assistance on matter of quality control and assurance.
Skills & Attributes
Time served in a relevant engineering discipline – NVQ / City and Guilds
Experienced within a Quality Engineering function within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of large plant / agricultural machinery would be advantageous
Knowledge of manufacturing processes would be advantageous
Internal Auditing experience
Full UK Driving License – Essential
