We are looking for dynamic and motivated candidates with experience in the Emergency Medicine and with an appetite for safe and effective patient care. North Bristol Trust is a large teaching hospital and is at the forefront of academic and nursing excellence. The ED is one of the busiest in the South West. As a Major Trauma Centre (MTC) the ED has a 6 bedded resuscitation area with a nursing ratio of 1:2, a majors area with 14 cubicles and a ratio of 3:1, an ambulatory/observation unit and a dedicated minor injuries facility, including a unit for children, which is open 24 hours a day.
We are fortunate to work in a purpose built unit in the heart of a new hospital and enjoy delivering care in this outstanding facility.
Your main roles will entail:
Assessment of ambulance and walk in patients
Delivering safe care to all patients
Working within the trauma team
Working closely with all members of the ED team
