Role as a Learning Support Assistant
In this vital support role, you’ll work closely with two children in Year 3: one pupil with autism and ADHD who may present with challenging behaviours, and another with learning difficulties and attachment issues. You'll be their consistent support in the classroom, helping them access learning, develop routines, and regulate emotions positively.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Delivering 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
• Assisting pupils in staying focused and engaged during lessons
• Implementing behaviour support strategies and promoting emotional resilience
• Liaising with class teachers and SENCO to adapt resources and strategies
• Recording and communicating pupil progress and daily observations

What the School is Looking For:
• A graduate (preferably in Psychology or a related discipline)
• Someone passionate about inclusive education and SEN, particularly autism and ADHD
• Experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential
• A patient, consistent, and calm communicator able to build positive relationships
• Commitment to full-time hours through the academic year
