We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Community Worker to join our team in Skipton and the surrounding areas. As a Community Worker, you will play a vital role in providing day-to-day and social support to individuals, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Providing practical support with daily tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housework.

Offering companionship and emotional support to individuals, promoting their social and emotional well-being.

Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, while maintaining dignity and respect.

Accompanying individuals on social outings and appointments, ensuring they remain connected to their community.

Monitoring individuals' well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate channels.

Maintaining accurate records of support provided.
Requirements:

A valid driving license and access to a car are essential, as you will be required to travel between client's homes. Mileage will be paid for travel between clients homes.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
