Summary

Position: We have an exciting new position for a Work Based Learning Manager, to be based within the proximity of one of UHI North, West and Hebrides campuses.

With 19 campuses and centres across the North and West Highlands, Skye, and Outer Hebrides, we cover a geographic area larger than Wales, comprising 40% of Scotland’s coastline. Our campuses and centres are located within historic towns and villages, set amongst the shorelines, mountains, and moors, with local staff working across our region to support our students and communities.

Position: We have an exciting new position for a Work Based Learning Manager, to be based within the proximity of one of UHI North, West and Hebrides campuses.

Responsibilities: The post holders will be responsible for achieving the recruitment, retention and outcome targets of candidates on work-based MA and SVQ programmes, liaising with candidates, employers and various College staff/departments to ensure an excellent candidate experience and compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting programme evaluation, enhancement and continuing personal development.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will be educated to degree level or hold a Diploma (SCQF Level 8 or above) in a relevant subject area or have comparable knowledge and experience in the relevant industry.

A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.

Salary: £40,638 - £43,207 per annum. Plus Islands Allowance if based in the Outer Hebrides

Location: Any NWH Campus

Working Hours: 35 hours, Permanent

Closing Date: 23rd May 2025, 12 noon

Interview Date: Expected w/c 2nd June 2025
