Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team in Stockton on Tees (TS16 0QB).
We pay on a weekly basis. The pay is minimum £12.93 per hour,
Timings are 08:30am - 15:00pm (Mon - Fri), And an Basic DBS Check is required
Start date is asap - temp
Roles & Responsibilities:
The mains duties of the role are:
- The supervision and control of the Catering Service in compliance with Equans Food Safety Management
System. - The preparation and delivery of food and beverages in accordance with the customer contractual
requirements. - Supervisory Management of the Catering Operatives.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as determined and agreed with the Facility's
Manager. - 40 Hours per week working Mondays to Fridays (negotiable)
Qualifications or Required Experience:

Must be knowledgeable in the theory of cooking, demonstrating good practical cooking techniques
and the ability in this knowledgeMust have previous experience of working in a similar catering establishment and supervising a -
catering team
* Must have an understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety Management Systems.
* Ideally hold or working towards Food Safety Level 3 Certificate
* Ideally hold or working towards HACCP Level 3 Certificate
* Ideally hold IOSH Supervising Safety but not mandatory.
* Ideally hold a current First Aid qualification but not mandatory
