Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Night Trunk Drivers to work with our client based in Shildon.
Our client is a well-established flooring distributor, and they have a requirement for night trunk drivers to support their operation on an ad hoc basis, with ongoing work available.
The Role: Night trunking work using Class 2 vehicles Delivery of flooring products to depots Tip and return with empty vehicle Drive in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations The Candidate: Valid and in-date HGV Class 2 (LGV C) licence, CPC & Digi Card Minimum age: 25 Maximum 6 penalty points Minimum 12 months of commercial Class 2 driving experience Hours of Work: Start time: 18:00 Shifts available on an ad hoc basis with potential for ongoing work Benefits of working with The Best Connection: Excellent pay rates 24/7 support from our consultants Pension contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing assignments Simple and fast online registration process
