Summary
The Land Trust is seeking an Estates and Community Assistant to assist the Estates and Community Officer, with the day-to-day management of the Warrington Portfolio and to take the lead in the delivery of activities to maximise our charitable objectives on Land Trust sites. This will involve working with the community who live and work around Land Trust sites, Land Trust staff, the landscape contractor and external organisations. The role will cover three main categories – Estates, Community Engagement and working with the Communications and Marketing Team.
The post holder will be line managed by the Estates and Community Officer but will also work with the Estate Manager North West.
Do you have:
• Experience of delivering community engagement, volunteer and/or training activities.
• Confidence working with a range of people and groups and ability to build and manage working relationships across all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• IT literate with proven skills in using MS Office packages.
• Knowledge of and interest in the environment and/or open spaces for public benefit.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
