Key Requirements:

Experience in an administrative or business support role.
Knowledge of the school admissions and appeals process.
Proven experience in using Zoom, including setting up and hosting meetings and webinars.
Confident with Microsoft Office 365 (especially Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
Comfortable and confident speaking to people on the phone and providing clear instructions.



The purpose of the role is to provide technical and administrative support for the School Appeals process, ensuring virtual appeal hearings are conducted smoothly and professionally. The postholder will play a key role in facilitating Zoom-based meetings and webinars, liaising with panel members, appellants, and internal stakeholders, and ensuring all technical aspects of the appeals process are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and manage Zoom Webinars and Meetings for school appeal hearings.
Send out Zoom links and relevant access details to panel members, parents/carers, and staff.
Act as Zoom host during appeal hearings, managing virtual waiting rooms and ensuring participants join at the appropriate times.
Provide real-time technical support during appeal hearings, resolving connectivity or access issues quickly and professionally.
Attend all scheduled appeal sessions to monitor technical performance and support panel members and appellants as needed.
Liaise with Democratic Services and other internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of appeal sessions.
Maintain accurate records and logs of appeal sessions, access information, and correspondence.
