Summary
We are recruiting for a Facilities Manager (Performing Arts)Grade 8 pay points 15-18
Salary £27,717 - £30,066 per annum)
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
We are seeking someone for a new and exciting role who is passionate about the Performing Arts and supporting local community groups. You will further develop and maximise community use of LiFE MAT school theatre, drama, music and main hall facilities, managing this provision to ensure that it meets the needs of LiFE MAT schools and the local communities that they serve.You will have oversight of theatre, drama, music and main hall lettings across Trust Schools and will work closely with the Facilities and Programmes Lead post holder and the facility hire/lettings team to grow facility use, implement up to date health & safety policy and procedures and ensure high quality customer service. You will support new facility development and ensure that new community use programmes are fully integrated into the Lettings programme and are financially viable. You will work with an existing team of theatre technicians and develop a pathway for new student theatre technicians to progress into the lettings team to extend the capacity for resourcing lettings.You will possess excellent people management, marketing and administrative skills. An understanding of quality assurance and experience of delivering high quality services to internal and external customers are essential for the role. Experience of working within a theatre environment and technical knowledge are other requirements.You will be working with a team of staff that support the day-to-day lettings operations across Trust school sites 49 weeks of the year, seven days a week. You will be supported with a thorough induction and training programme.
