Summary

The Adoption Team recruits, assesses and supports adoptive parents and finds families for children who should be adopted. There is a small team dedicated to providing post adoption support to adopters and adoptees, although the successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment and assessment of adoptive families and in the assessment of non-agency adoptions.
There are lots of developments in the field of adoption at the moment and we are looking to adapt our practice to accommodate these developments.
You will need to be in receipt of DipSW qualification or equivalent, be on the HCPC register and have post qualification experience.
