We are advertising for a client who requires a trainee dental receptionist with the potential to also become a dental nurse for their new 3 surgery private dental practice in the centre of Wrexham.
The position is full time between Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm .
As a dental receptionist training will include:
* being able to be responsible for maintaining patient records, managing dentists' schedules and overseeing a variety of administrative information.
* Answering and routing phone calls
* Greeting visitors and clients (physically)
* Scheduling appointments
* Maintaining the organisation and tidiness of the reception and waiting areas
As a Dental Nurse, training will include:
* being able to carry out high quality dental nursing to assist each clinicians with dental procedures
* ensuring that all cross-infection and decontamination procedures are carried out in correctly
* Preparing and closing of the surgeries
* Health and Safety procedures
* Infection Control procedures
* Basic First Aid & Medical Emergencies
* Patient Confidentiality and GDPR procedures
Minimum wage will be paid whilst in training.
The successful candidate would enrol with The Academy of Dental Nursing to gain their City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing once they are ready to train as a dental nurse.
