Summary

Job Description

This senior leadership role within Financial Services reports to the Executive Director of Financial Services. The job holder will play a key role in achieving the Section’s objectives. You will a have Professional accreditation to a CCAB body and you will possess an in-depth knowledge for the delivery of the audit plan.

The key responsibilities of the role are to lead the development and delivery of the Annual Internal Audit Plan for the Council Group. This includes the Core City Council, its Arms Length External Organisations, the Strathclyde Pension Fund, Glasgow City IJB and the Glasgow City Deal. The role also includes Chief Internal Auditor duties for external Audit Glasgow Clients.
