Summary
Social Care & Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a well- established Nursery and be a part of their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional looking for a stable and rewarding role in a high-quality early years setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to children's needs.
Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies.
Requirements:
Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education.
Recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Additional training in First Aid, Safeguarding, or Food Hygiene is beneficial but not required.
