Job Description:

Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Domiciliary Care Branch Manager to lead and manage our branch in Sudbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the branch, ensuring high-quality care services are delivered to our clients while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care branch, ensuring efficient service delivery.- Manage and support a team of care coordinators, supervisors, and care staff, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.- Ensure the branch complies with all regulatory requirements and standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).- Develop and implement strategies for business growth and development, including increasing client base and service offerings.- Monitor and manage budgets, financial targets, and resources efficiently.- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.- Liaise with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints.- Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to ensure staff are skilled and motivated.- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements.- Implement and monitor health and safety practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and clients.- Report to senior management on branch performance, challenges, and achievements.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a managerial role within the domiciliary care sector.- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.- Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.- Relevant qualifications in health and social care or management are desirable.- A full driving license is preferred.
