Austen Allen Homecare is a leading, award-winning Domiciliary Care Provider recognised for delivering high-quality services across Dartford, Gravesham, Medway and Thanet.
We are now looking to employ a part-time Care Advisor/Administrator to join our Margate Branch. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for care and strong organisational and administrative skills, who is enthusiastic about supporting both service users and staff in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
Duties will include, but are not restricted to:
+ Creating and updating Care Plans and Risk Assessments.
+ Supervising and supporting care staff, including spot checks.
+ Handling calls and liaising with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Assisting management and staff with administrative tasks.
+ Conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.
+ Managing stock, placing orders, and running errands.
+ Participating in the on-call rota and covering care calls as needed.
Essential Requirements:
+ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
+ Experience working in the care sector.
+ Willingness and flexibility to carry out care duties in the community.
+ Good computer skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
+ Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
+ Experience with mental capacity assessments.
+ Working knowledge of CQC standards.
+ Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills.
+ A positive, team-oriented approach and the ability to use initiative.
Salary:
+ From £13.00 Per Hour, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Working Hours:
+ Part-Time – Days and hours to be agreed upon during the interview process.
