Led by a team of highly experienced headteacher with a strong track record of school transformation, this school is a beacon of progress and innovation.We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their multifunctional team.

About the Role:
- Lead small group or 1:1 interventions focused on communication, sensory integration, emotional regulation, and academic support
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to adapt learning materials and strategies
- Provide pastoral support and contribute to behaviour plans and EHCP targets
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment, rooted in empathy and consistency
About You:
- Experience working in a special school or supporting children with SEN across early years, primary, or secondary phases
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. , NVQ Level 3, HLTA status, or willingness to work towards)
- Knowledge of autism, SEMH, and/or complex learning needs, with training in relevant strategies, highly desirable
- Flexible, resilient, and calm under pressure, with a child-centred approach
- A strong team player with excellent communication and initiative
