Summary

Title: CNC Programmer / Warehouse Operative Company in north west London is looking for CNC Operator & Programmer -For a leading Cladding and Facades Company.

IMMEDIATE START!!

Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:00

Paying £16.00ph or £30000 - £32000 per annum

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and operating CNC machines with precision and efficiency primarily using Vcarve software.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating 3-4 Axis Butler Elgamills with Heidenhain TNC320 CNC machines with conversational programming software, producing precision components to tolerances of .0005" (.0127 mm). This role requires a strong understanding of tooling, technical drawings, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manufacture parts according to specifications. The CNC Operative/Programmer will work closely with ware team to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties: Develop and optimise CNC programmes for various machining operations. Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assemble components using hand tools and machinery, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate parts accurately. Utilise maths skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Manage materials handling within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and inventory control. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and machine operation. Skills: 3 years experience as a CNC Operator Proficient in tooling techniques and practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery. Experience with hand tools and their application in a manufacturing environment. Maths skills for effective measurement and calculation tasks including trigonometry. Ability to manufacture and self-check work.
