The Best Connection is currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers for a well-established client based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to join a reputable company with long-term prospects and a supportive working environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator with valid Reach and Counterbalance licences. You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring the safe handling, movement, and storage of goods. This role offers stability, full-time hours, and the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. Working Hours: Monday to Friday Shift Times: 07:00-16:00 or 08:00-17:00 Key Responsibilities: Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts efficiently and safely Load and unload deliveries with precision and care Move stock accurately within the warehouse and production areas Maintain stock control by logging all movements using internal systems Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Assist in general warehouse duties as required What Were Looking For: In-date Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited) Proven experience operating both types of forklifts in a busy warehouse or logistics environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards A reliable, punctual, and team-focused individual with a strong work ethic Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
