Cover SupervisorGrade 6, point 18 - 22Actual salary £24,354.0235 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8.15am - 3.45pm)Term time only plus Trust Development Day and 1 school Inset DayStart Date: ASAPClosing Date: Midnight Sunday 11 May 2025Interview to be held: TBCWorking in classrooms directly with our students, our Cover Supervisors play a pivotal supporting role in raising standards of achievement.The Successful candidate will provide high-quality cover to classes in the absence of the teacher, supervise classes across the curriculum following a programme of study during the short-term absence of their class teacher, actively engage with the class and follow all classroom procedures as per the classroom teachers' instructions. You will be conscientious and self-motivated and always working to support and motivate students. You will become a role model to our students and instil high expectations from the work you will be asking the students to complete.The ideal candidate will have:Good educational background with experience of subject backgroundKnowledge of using different IT softwareRelevant experience of working with young people in a learning environmentA clear and positive communication mannerEnthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team, as well as on own initiativeThe interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, students, parents, and other outside agenciesAbility to remain calm and professional at all timesSupport the School policies on safeguarding and child protectionFlexibility of working hours, committed and reliable with excellent timekeepingFull training will be provided.
