Teaching Assistant with Cover Supervisor responsibilities

Hours of Post: 32.5 hours per week
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 15:30pm (30mins lunch per day)

Contract Type: Fixed Term to cover a maternity leave, Term Time only

Salary Grade: Scale 3, point 5 - £24,790 FTE
(salary will be pro rata to part time, term time hours)

Start Date of Post: As soon as possible


The Governors and Headteacher at Abingdon Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated and knowledgeable Cover Supervisor to join our happy, inclusive school serving the South Reddish community.

The role includes covering PPA time under the direction of the class teacher and key stage lead, class cover where required, leading and managing support staff communication, and supporting learners in class/running interventions.
